This Privacy Policy describes how “Honey, I am home” Handyman Renovations Services (“we”, “us”), an owner-operated handyman and renovation business serving Toronto’s West End, handles information on www.superhandyman.ca.

Information you send us

When you submit the estimate request form, you choose to send us:

• your name, and the phone number and/or email address you provide;
• your address or area, the service type, your preferred estimate date and time, and your preferred confirmation method;
• your project description and any project photos you attach.

We use this information only to review your project, contact you to confirm an estimate visit, and prepare your estimate. Form submissions are received and stored through Netlify Forms (our website hosting provider) and delivered to the business owner. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Estimate scheduling

When you send an estimate request, the requested date and time may be recorded in our business calendar (Google Calendar) together with the contact details you provided, so Russ can review and confirm the visit.

Google Maps review content

The reviews section of our website displays review content retrieved from Google Maps (via the Google Places API), including reviewer names, profile photos, ratings, relative dates, and review text as provided by Google. This content is retrieved for display only — we do not edit review text, and we do not store Google review content or reviewer personal data on our systems. Reviews are selected and ordered by Google’s relevance ranking. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and the content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Google Ads API and Google account authorization

We use the Google Ads API as an internal business tool to support our own advertising and marketing analysis. The business owner may authorize access to the Honey, I am home Google Ads account through Google OAuth 2.0. This authorization is used only for internal functions such as keyword research, historical search-volume and competition metrics, bid-range signals, campaign and reporting analysis, performance summaries, and combining advertising data with our own website and search-performance information.

Information we may retain from this workflow is limited to marketing intelligence such as keyword text, aggregated historical metrics, opportunity scores, article or topic relationships, and advertising performance summaries. Customer-entered estimate information — including names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, project descriptions, photos, and requested appointment times — is not intentionally sent in Google Ads API keyword-planning requests.

OAuth credentials and access or refresh tokens are kept server-side and are not exposed in public website code. Authentication secrets are excluded from stored reports and operational logs. We do not sell Google Ads account data, and we do not provide OAuth credentials, access tokens, refresh tokens, developer credentials, or raw Google Ads API responses to customers or other external users.

If Google authorization is revoked or the connected Google account is disconnected, further authorized API access stops. You may also ask us to delete retained marketing data associated with the connection by contacting us using the information below.

Our use of information received from Google APIs is limited to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. Google’s own handling of account information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and when a contact button is clicked or an estimate request is completed. Google Analytics sets browser cookies and similar storage to distinguish visits. We use this measurement data only to improve the website and understand where enquiries come from.

The customer-entered fields of the estimate form — your name, phone number, email, address, project description, photos, and preferred dates or times — are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics. Analytics events carry only non-identifying context such as the page path, which button was used, and the selected service category.

This website does not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

Telephone, SMS and WhatsApp

If you contact us by phone, text message, or WhatsApp, that communication is governed by your carrier’s or WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policies. We use your messages only to respond to your enquiry.

Retention and your choices

We keep estimate-request information only as long as needed to respond to you and manage the work you request. You can ask us to delete the information you sent by contacting us at 647-740-8887.
